A system nobody trustsA decision you can defend

Most of the IT decisions we are asked about are not really technology decisions — they are decisions about how the organisation wants to work, wearing a technology costume. We are useful because we have built the systems ourselves and know what the vendor is not telling you.

What you get

Systems review

What you are running, what it costs, what it is actually used for, and what is quietly holding the business together. Delivered as something you can hand to a board, not a 90-slide deck.

Build, buy, or stop

For the decision in front of you: a recommendation with the reasoning and the numbers behind it. Including, sometimes, the recommendation not to do it at all.

Vendor and tender support

We sit on your side of the table. We read the contract, translate the proposal, and tell you which promises the vendor cannot keep.

Architecture and integration

How the pieces should fit — data, identity, and the integrations everyone assumes will be easy. Written down before anyone starts building.

How an engagement runs

  1. 01

    Listen

A week of conversations, with the people who use the systems as well as the people who bought them. The gap between those two groups is where the answer usually is.

  2. 02

    Assess

We go through what is running, what it costs, and what it is holding up. You get the findings even when they are uncomfortable.

  3. 03

    Recommend

A short document with a clear position, the reasoning, and what it would take to act on it. We present it in person and defend it.

Right for you if

  • You are about to sign for a system and something feels off
  • You have inherited an estate nobody has documented
  • Your team cannot agree on build versus buy, and it has been months
  • You need an outside view that does not have a product to sell you

Tell us what is not working

A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right people for it. If we are not, we will say so.
